Painters Assistant/Laborer
Silverback Painting
Location: College Station, TX
Pay: $17–$20/hr depending on experience
Type: Full-time (Mon–Fri, occasional weekends)
​Position Overview
​
We are hiring laborers and painter’s assistants to support our experienced crews. We’re looking for individuals with some experience in residential or commercial painting or construction — even if it’s basic. You’ll assist with jobsite setup, cleanup, and light painting tasks under supervision.
What You’ll Do

Load and unload tools and materials each day

Mask, tape, and prep areas for painting

Assist with sanding, caulking, and priming

Keep the jobsite clean and organized

Help with brush and roller painting as trained

Communicate with the crew and follow directions

Respect client homes and property

What We’re Looking For

Some experience in painting, remodeling, or construction

Reliable, punctual, and ready to work

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Willingness to follow directions and improve

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors

No drama, no shortcuts — just solid, consistent effort

Pay & Advancement

Starting pay of $17/hr during a 4-week training period

Raises to $18–$20/hr based on performance, reliability, and skill
